Product Details

Circuit breakers are importance devices that interrupt current when an electrical fault occurs. Technicians use switchgear analyzer and micro ohm meter to detect mechanical and electrical problems in the switchgear. Regular maintenance provide opportunity to identify and correct operational issues and ensure power system reliability. HANDY provide switchgear analyzer with micro ohm meter all in one design. Users just only take one device to perform those test.

General Description and Features

The GKC433AL is HANDY'S new product with stand-alone, digital, microprocessor controlled circuit breaker timer. It measures the elapsed time from the instant a breaker coil is energized to the instant of opening or closing of a circuit breaker's dry contacts. The equipment can fully analyze the time of all circuit breaker operation (Open, Close, Open-close, Close- Open, Open- Close- Open). Timing results are displayed in milliseconds on LCD screen. The results can be printed on built-in 57mm wide thermal printer.

Contact timing inputs

The GKC433AL features 12 dry-contact, timer-channel monitoring inputs. The dry- contact channels use an isolated 12Vdc power supply to monitor the circuit breaker contact states. The resistor contacts and auxiliary contacts can also be measured.

User Interface

The device features a back-lit LCD screen that is viewable in both bright sunlight and low-light levels. A keypad is used to control the unit and input data. The unit’s built-in 57mm wide thermal printer can be used to print test reports.

Internal Test Record Storage

The circuit breaker analyzer can store up to 500 test records in memory. Test records can be retrieved and printed on the built-in thermal printer, or they can be transferred to a PC via the USB interface. The USB interface can also be used for diagnostic testing and for updating firmware. The analyzer also features an USB flash drive interface that can be used for store test results on an external USB flash drive. A windows software is provided and can be open or operated control the analyzer.

Measurement part

Analyzes contact time, stroke, velocity, over-travel. Measures close and open coil current. Measures motor current while motor charging.

Transducers

Provides one rotaty transducer, one linear transducer, also with universal fix mounting.
